(found on the web somewhere...)
Danny: Can I get a large black coffee?
Barista: A what?
Danny: Large black coffee.
Barista: Do you mean a venti?
Danny: No, I mean a large.
Barista: Venti is large.
Danny: No, venti is twenty. Large is large. In fact, tall is large and grande is Spanish for large. Venti is the only one that doesn't mean large. It's also the only one that's Italian. Congratulations, you're stupid in three languages.
Barista: A venti is a large coffee.
Danny: Really? Says who? Fellini? Do you accept lira or is it all euros now?
Danny is mean, but funny...
I'm so glad I don't have to do the Starbucks courier service anymore since Keurig joined our office!!
Thoughts and photos by Lois. It's supposed to be funny, or thought-provoking, or both.

Faux-hawk vs Mullet
I'm so so over faux-hawks. Aren't they "out" yet? For my part, they are right on par with the mullet. Except without the cool description "business up front, party in the back"...Lanes was in a wedding and both ringbearers were sporting the look. Really, is that what any bride wants in a wedding photo twenty years from now? Meanwhile Laney's decked out in a satin gown with spaghetti straps and a white headband with flower side detail. Very classic...not sure what happened across the aisle there. People should ask me about things like this, really.
Photo above: my girl's face saying "Do I have to walk down the aisle with him?!?!"
I did find one ONE cool faux-hawk picture, but he started wearing them in 2005. It's 2010. Hey, 2005 called -- it wants its hair back. Yes -- let the faux-hawk go.

I See A Lot More Coffee In My Future
This is our new coffee set up at work -- Keurig 1 minute single cup maker with a ton of options. The small pitcher to the right is a push-button electric frother that can make even skim milk look like whipped cream...the only downer is that it's a little hard to clean so I've been using my same old CoffeeMate Hazelnut Caramel Vanilla Dolce Addiction creamer. Lessons learned:
- I forgot how much I like Caribou Coffee
- Keurig makes it blisteringly hot
- And very very strong

Hmmm...Next Time You're Tired and Thirsty
Outside Fry's Food ... thinking, I need a pick me up ... Coke -- no, Big K soda -- no, Monster -- UM YES where has this vending machine been all my life?!?!? Then for convenience they should put another machine with smugglers of Stoli next to it. I'm just sayin' ...
Deck the Halls with Christmas Cookies...
It is APRIL. Why are these cookies Christmas colors?!?! They do not even look good...so I asked if they had any other frosted cookies. The answer was no. Where are the spring cookies? Lola wanted a white cookie with pink frosting. Hey, Target, call me when those arrive!
Dude is that your car?!?!
Are those speakers attached to the A pillars?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! This is amazing, absurd, and hilarious. There was no door handle and the door was actually taped shut...I think the vehicle was, at one point, a Geo Metro... Then my man behind the wheel pulls out some kind of touch screen phone and starts tapping away...so theoretically, his phone cost more than his vehicle!?!? Hey...priorities...

Kudos to my Coworker!
I get a twitter feed (yes, I follow THREE whole tweeters, not to be confused with tweekers) talking about a friend making grilled pizza. One of my coworkers is a grill freak, she was talking about trying it, so I ask for the crust recipe, and it comes back with the ingredient "ap flower" -- I'm all MBA overthinking it, what?!?! accounts payable? advanced placement? what?!?
Other (not grill freak) coworker pipes right up: "ALL PURPOSE flour"!!! Duh!
I'm all, "Nice work Staci!" and she replies with aplomb and without sarcasm, "Yeah, it says that on the bag -- all purpose flour."
I like getting smacked down sometimes. ROFLMAO! At myself!
